Unico Zelo, Jungle Jungle 2022

Unico Zelo was founded by husband-wife team, Brendan & Laura Carter, two winemakers who wanted to shine a spotlight on the incredible soil, terroir and potential of cool-climate Australian wine. They have vineyards throughout the Adelaide Hills, and are making some of Australia's best and downright coolest wines we've seen in a while. Jungle Jungle 2022 is made from 100% Dolcetto, a grape variety rarely seen outside of Piedmont, Italy, but certainly flourishing here in Langhorne Creek, Australia. Juicy blueberries, fresh black cherry, layered with spices and some crushed herbs, enveloped by the most beautiful web of fine tannin. Comforting and complex all at once it is an awesome wine and best paired with gamey dishes.
